Our latest Petsmart adventure was a classic! My sweet 3 year old was looking all over the place for something but I was too busy trying to push the cart, hold Reggie’s leash and keep track of her to really think about it. She finally said “Mommy, I can’t find Reggie’s paw anywhere!”
I was a little dumbfounded, but it all makes sense in her mind. We adopted Reggie from Petsmart, and everywhere we go, people say “Oh no! The poor thing lost his paw!” or “How/When did he lose his paw?” Once I collected my composure and stopped laughing, I explained that we weren’t going to find it and that Reggie was doing just fine without it.
Oh, to be 3 again….
